The 3rd Germany-China Brand Summit — jointly hosted by the General Management Office of China Media Group, Brand University of Applied Sciences, the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) and the International Academy of Brand Science — opens on 14 December 2026 at the AXICA Convention Center in Berlin. Held under the theme "Brand Building in the Age of Artificial Intelligence", it is designed as a platform for substantive exchange between China and the German-speaking countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The summit will bring together government representatives from China, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, leading companies, artificial intelligence research organisations, representatives of overseas Chinese business communities, senior experts and major media from both regions. Attendance on site is expected to reach 500 to 800.
The programme is organised in three parts: the opening ceremony, the main forum, and dedicated business matchmaking. The opening will publish a comparative study of German and Chinese brands, issue an initiative for sustainable brand development in the age of artificial intelligence, and host a signing ceremony for cooperation projects. The main forum combines keynotes and panel discussions on how AI is reshaping brand competition, digital transformation under Industry 4.0, multilingual AIGC in cross-cultural brand communication and the global positioning of overseas Chinese enterprises, alongside one-to-one industry matchmaking sessions. The summit is organised by Shangdao Zhilian (Shanghai) Digital Technology Co., Ltd. and the Eurasian Brand Economy Cooperation Association (EBC).
The summit connects Germany's national economic and brand institutions with Chinese advanced manufacturing, companies taking AI abroad, and the wider overseas Chinese business network, to support practical cooperation in artificial intelligence, brand building, advanced manufacturing and cross-border trade. It continues to deepen industrial and cultural exchange between China and the German-speaking countries.
